Lauren Turner, Esq., CIPP/US
Partner
Lauren Turner helps technology companies and mission-driven organizations solve the kinds of legal problems that don't fit neatly into a box. Her background spans Big Tech, technology and public-interest organizations, and global nonprofits, which mostly means she's spent a lot of time helping teams make decisions with incomplete information, competing priorities, and deadlines that were probably unrealistic to begin with.
Her work spans product, commercial, privacy, regulatory, employment, and governance matters, including SaaS platforms, AI and machine learning products, data-driven services, commercial contracting, and the day-to-day legal questions that arise as organizations grow and evolve. She believes legal advice should help people move forward—not just understand what could go wrong.
Across her career, Lauren has advised on everything from product launches and commercial deals to employment matters, governance, and organizational operations. Having served as both product counsel and general counsel in environments ranging from AWS to global mission-driven organizations, she brings an operator's perspective to legal advice: clear on risk, practical in execution, and focused on outcomes.
Lauren is licensed to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia.
