This Privacy Policy explains how Clockwork Law (a trade name of Turner & Ragavanis Law PLLC, “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information submitted through https://www.clockwork.law (the “Site”).

1. Who We Are
Clockwork Law is a trade name of Turner & Ragavanis Law PLLC, a New York professional limited liability company. We provide fractional General Counsel and legal services to technology-forward companies and mission-driven organizations. Questions about this Policy can be directed to us at hello@clockwork.law.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you submit our contact form, we collect the following:
- Required: your name, email address, the type of engagement you are interested in, and a brief description of your inquiry.
- Optional: your company name and phone number.
We ask that you not include confidential, privileged, or sensitive personal information in your message. Submitting the form does not establish an attorney–client relationship.
Information collected automatically
We do not operate independent analytics, advertising, or tracking systems on this Site. However, the third-party infrastructure services described in Section 4 may collect certain technical information as a consequence of serving and protecting the Site, including:
- IP address and general geolocation derived from it;
- Browser type, operating system, and device characteristics;
- Information about requests made to the Site, such as pages accessed and referring URLs, to the extent collected by our hosting and security providers;
- Date and time of requests.
This information is processed under the terms of those third-party services and is used for security, abuse prevention, and infrastructure operations.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site itself does not set first-party cookies for advertising or analytics. Our spam-prevention provider, Cloudflare Turnstile, may set or read cookies or use browser storage as part of its bot-detection process when you interact with the contact form. 3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit through the contact form to:
- Respond to your inquiry and determine whether an engagement is a good fit;
- Send you an automated acknowledgment confirming receipt of your message;
- Fulfill any subsequent legal representation or services you engage us for; and
- Comply with applicable legal and professional obligations.
Information submitted through the contact form may be reviewed for purposes of determining whether a conflict of interest exists before any engagement is accepted.
We do not use your contact information for marketing or solicitation unrelated to your inquiry, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Where applicable under laws such as the GDPR, we process personal information:
- to respond to your request and take steps at your request before entering into a professional relationship;
- to comply with legal and professional obligations; and
- for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site.

We rely on the following service providers to operate and protect the Site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy and, where applicable, under a data processing agreement with us.

We do not use third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), advertising networks, or social media tracking pixels on this Site.
6. Data Retention
We retain information from your contact form inquiry for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and evaluate the inquiry, and thereafter in accordance with our records management practices and any applicable professional rules governing attorney records. If an attorney–client relationship is established, separate retention obligations apply under applicable rules of professional conduct.

7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law and your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Access & portability — the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correction — the right to ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- Deletion — the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and professional retention obligations;
- Opt-out of sale — we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. We honor rights requests as required by applicable law.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information submitted through this Site, including use of HTTPS encryption in transit and reliance on Cloudflare’s security infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form.
9. Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

This Site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
